Join this well-known Manufacturer, well-known for their state-of-the-art design, innovation & engineering excellence. Supplying internationally to the Corporate, Commercial and government sectors, the head office located in Seven Hills.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Attending to routine machine breakdowns
• Machine set-up and preparation
• Preventative maintenance of general and mechanical systems
• Assisting with keeping Production Machinery & auxiliary equipment in working order
• Schedules and routine maintenance
• Perform periodic quality and safety checks
• Liaise with Manufacturing, Plant, Operations & Supply Chain Managers & external Contractors

To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Trade recognition (Fitter and Turner)
• Solid maintenance experience with Production Machinery
• Good fault finding ability and diagnosis
• Understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems, combustion & mechanical drive systems
• Forklift & vehicle licence
• Team player with good verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow written standard operating procedures
• An ‘outside-the box’, lateral thinker
